Sony SMAD-P5 Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe
The SMAD-P5 Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe Adaptor allows a convenient, cable-free connection of the URX-P40 wireless receiver to compatible camcorders or interchangeable-lens cameras featuring an MI (Multi-Interface) shoe. Audio signals are transmitted directly from the wireless receiver to the camera with no need for connecting cables. The adaptor also supports direct digital audio recording with compatible camcorders, bypassing A/D and D/A conversion stages to deliver high sound quality with low noise. The SMAD-P5 allows the wireless receiver to draw power from the camcorder via the MI shoe, while receiver power ON/OFF can be controlled directly from the camera.
The SMAD-P5 is applicable to XDCAM Camcorder PXW-Z280/Z190, PXW-X180/X160, PXW-X280/X200*, PXW-Z150**, PXW-FX9, PXW-FS7, PXW-FS7II, PXW-FS5, PXW-FS5II, PXW-Z90, and PXW-X70, NXCAM Camcorder HXR-NX5R**, HXR-NX80, HXR-MC2500, and HXR-MC88, Cinema Line Cameras IMLE-FX6V and ILME-FX3, Handycam FDR-AX60, FDR-AX45, and NEX-VG30, interchangeable lens digital camera α7II, α7III, α7RII, α7RIII, α7RIV, α7S, α7SII, α7SIII, α7C, α9, α9II, α1, α6600, and α99II with analog output setting. Digital connection is available with PXW-FX9, PXW-Z280/Z190***, IMLE-FX6V, ILME-FX3, α7RIV, α7SIII, α7C, α9II, and α1. PXW-FX9 PXW-Z280/Z190*** and IMLE-FX6V can show the wireless microphone status on the LCD or viewfinder. (as of March 2022)
* PXW-X200 firmware should be upgraded to Ver.2.00 or later for using SMAD-P5.
** When using with PXW-Z150 or HXR-NX5R operated by AC power, please set a battery on the camera. Without a battery, we do not guarantee the power supply function or power ON/OFF control function. In that case, insert new AA alkaline batteries in the receiver and set the receiver’s power select (PWR SOURCE) menu item to BATT ONLY mode to avoid an unexpected shutdown of the camera or data loss.
***PXW-Z280/Z190 firmware should be upgraded to Ver.3.00 or later.
****When using these specific camera models (all Handycam, interchangeable lens digital camera, and Cyber-shot), we do not guarantee the power supply function or power ON/OFF control function. Insert new AA alkaline batteries in the receiver and set the receiver’s power select (PWR SOURCE) menu item to BATT ONLY mode to avoid an unexpected shutdown of the camera or data loss.

All items that are available for purchase online are subjected to availability. For item that are available, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email to show that your order had been processed and is ready for collection / to be delivered. In the event whereby the item ordered is unavailable, a notification email will be sent and refund will be initiated immediately.
Self-collect: Item will be ready for collection at our store once the confirmation email is received. Orders that are made on the Weekends or Public Holiday may take about 2-4 working days to process.
Delivery (Local, Singapore): Small items: Delivery will take approximately 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to be delivered upon confirmation of order. Orders will be delivered by Singpost or local couriers.
Large / Bulky items: Delivery will take approximately 7-10 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to be delivered upon confirmation of order. Orders will be delivered by Expandore.
Delivery (Overseas); Shipment will be arranged with our courier partners to be delivered to your shipping address.
