The PRX-II is RF Central's
digital-only, 4:2:0 handheld receiver with monitor solution. The
highly versatile unit serves as a receiver confidence monitor,
COFDM receiver, and engineering diagnostic tool. The PRX-II
compact digital COFDM receiver includes an integral high
brightness 5.6 inch LCD display.
Designed for the needs of security, surveillance and broadcast
users, it can be configured in a variety of bands depending upon
customer application. The receiver can be configured at time of
order for 2 GHz (broadcast), 5.8 GHz (license free) or 6.4/7.1
GHz (law enforcement/other) use.
Weighing only 1 lb. (.45 kg), the package is highly portable and
can be powered by available internal batteries or via an
external 12 Vdc supply or lighter adapter. The PRX-II decodes
4:2:0 video and can be configured for 6, 7 or 8 MHz bandwidths
by the operator.
Local control is available through front panel push button
access with available lock-out feature to retain settings. Other
features include Composite Video Output, VGA Output, Analog
Audio Output, Earphone Output, built in internal speakers and
tripod mount. The units top mounted SD card slot, allows the
user to record the received stream for later playback with full
local control. |
