• Supports Exif 2.2 print, which is the new industry standard for enhancing communication between digital cameras and printers. The printer can read image data relevant to the shooting conditions (eg white balance, exposure). Therefore, the printing of each image is tailored to match the photographer's original settings when the image was taken.
• "Direct Print" mode allows the camcorder to print out photo directly with Canon Direct photo Printer - bypassing PC.
• StitchAssist mode arranges several images into 1 panoramic photo.

More than a web-camera
• "DV messenger" allows face-to-face conversation via MSN messenger on Canon DV. The other party can watch and control the video playback of your camcorder - all from the PC.
